Sumptuous chocolate seems to be a favorite for many, chocolate (other than in liquid form) dates back to 1847 when J.S.Fry and Sons molded the first chocolate bar in Bristol England. Prior to that chocolate had been consumed in hot drinks, like hot chocolate. However, once they introduced the solid chocolate, it was the beginning of a whole new era for chocolate lovers. Shortly after that the ganache, which is a blended filling of chocolate and heavy cream, emerged from France and Switzerland.
